The Rugby Network to Stream over 50 Collegiate Rugby Championship Matches

75 May —The Rugby Network will stream 18 hours of live, national championship action from the Collegiate Rugby Championship over Memorial Day, May 28-30. 110 teams will converge at the Shrine on Airline Stadium in New Orleans, the largest rugby-only stadium in North America and the home of Major League Rugby’s NOLA Gold.

The 12th-edition of college rugby’s crown-jewel tournament features 110 teams competing for national championships in six men’s and women’s divisions. Nearly 300 matches will be played over three days.

Saturday, the action kicks off with the Women’s Premier Cup, featuring 16 of the best women’s teams in the country. First-round games at 9:00 a.m. ET., starting with three-time CRC champions Life from Marietta, Georgia taking on first-year program Southern Nazarene out of Bethany, Oklahoma. 

The first round will be immediately followed by a pair of quarterfinals on TRN, including the winner of the aforementioned pairing facing the winner of UC Davis versus Notre Dame. The other quarterfinal will feature the victors between defending champion Lindenwood and Boise State facing off against the winner of Notre Dame College versus Michigan.

The opening round for the men’s Premier Cup, featuring 32 of the nation’s top programs, kicks off at 12:40 p.m., with Big Ten champion and top-seeded Indiana hoping to return to the final four for the first time since 2017. Standing in their way are the Florida Collegiate Rugby Conference champions, the University of Florida. Saturday, the action on TRN will break from 1:46 - 5:00, returning the remainder of the men’s first round through 6:18. 

Sunday, the tournament will run consecutively from 9:30 a.m. - 6:31 p.m., with highlights including the Men’s Premier Cup second round, Women’s Premier Cup semifinals and final, and the Women’s D1 Club championship game. 

Monday, all the Small College, D2 and D1 Club national title matches will all air live on TRN, alongside the Men’s Premier Cup semifinals and 18 live games total. The full team list and tournament schedule, including first round match-ups, is available on maymadness7s.com.
